esports pubmat

about
during my time in competitive gaming, i handled the visual content for akarui esports, aeronova, and cour e-pro. i created pubmats for match announcements, tournament updates, player-related posts, and other esports content needed by the teams.

case study
esports became one of the niches that shaped my interest in graphic design. being part of different teams meant we constantly needed graphics for matches, announcements, and tournament updates, but we did not always have a dedicated designer to create them.
instead of leaving that gap, i started making the pubmats myself.
working on esports graphics pushed me to experiment with bold typography, image manipulation, composition, lighting, and high-energy visuals. since posts often had to be made around matches and announcements, it also taught me how to work quickly while keeping the graphics consistent with each team's identity.
what started as something i needed to do for the team eventually became a style of design that i genuinely enjoyed. it gave me a space to combine two things i was already interested in: gaming and graphic design.
