personal exploration is where i experiment without thinking too much about rules or client constraints. it is a mix of typography, imagery, color, random visual ideas, and filipino humor that sometimes turns into memes i feel like i have to post.
some pieces start from a design idea, while others simply come from something funny, strange, or interesting i see online or in everyday life.
case study
i wanted to push myself to think more creatively instead of always waiting for the perfect idea or project.
these experiments became a way for me to keep creating, try unfamiliar visual styles, and explore different combinations of typography, imagery, composition, and color. there is no strict formula behind every piece. sometimes i start with a typeface, an image, a phrase, or even a random meme and build everything around it.
the goal is not always to create something polished or commercially useful. it is about exercising my creative thinking, testing ideas quickly, and discovering techniques or visual directions that i can bring into future projects.
most importantly, it gives me a space where i can make weird things, have fun with design, and keep my creativity moving.
