i built Iwons because i always found leetcode a little overwhelming. some problems felt too complicated, especially for someone who's still learning the basics of programming.
so i thought, why not make something simpler?
Iwons is my own take on a coding practice platform, with easier challenges and a more approachable experience. it's also a personal project where i get to practice my programming skills while experimenting with design and creativity.

the problem
coding practice platforms can sometimes feel intimidating to beginners. i wanted to create something that encourages people to keep learning without feeling pressured to solve difficult problems right away.
the approach
my focus was simplicity, both in the coding challenges and the overall experience. i wanted users to spend more time understanding problems rather than figuring out how to navigate the platform.
another important decision was giving users control over their own data. instead of relying on a centralized database to store their progress, i wanted saved work to remain on their own device. this keeps the experience more personal and reduces the need to collect user information.
the outcome
Iwons became more than just a coding practice project for me. it's a way to explore how thoughtful design can make learning programming feel more welcoming, while improving my own skills along the way.
